Maridome

177'
When a high
profile yacht of the calibre of Maridome is launched, then it automatically
becomes something of a celebrity, especially when the yacht is also the largest
private yacht to be built in Britain for over fifty years.
In the boat deck saloon, the clean lines owe much to the art deco period. In the
dining room, the huge oval table of marble seats ten. Cream, pearlized
lacquered walls and soft cool furnishings make the full width stateroom totally
luxurious. The four guest suites, named and decorated after ocean liners of the
past. The Queen Mary, paneled in rich walnut with caramel colored marble in the
bathroom. The elaborate tapestry of Le Normandie dominates this suite. The most
exotic though, Victoria and Albert, where the rich cream and browns of the
fabrics and mahogany paneling take the style back a full century. For the
adventurous, a miniature submarine. Maridome is not a boat for the faint
hearted.
